Dada drove me to school at around 11.45am.

Tuned up and soon set off the VCH.
And met up with the Nakamura Girls'.
They were SO POLITE.
Comparing to Singaporeans..

Oh anyways, we played 3 songs..
La Forza, Dancing Amedeaus (Spell?) and American Graffitti.
Oh wells, was quite okay I should say..
Part 3 wasn't really screwed.
And KUDOS to Robyn, who played her solo quite nicely :D
Oh and then the Nakamura Girls' took the stage and they were like sooooo AWESOME!

They played Rocky..
The one we played during the 55th anniversary..
And boy, they were like soooo good! (?
Lol, the solo flautist was amazing.

9 Dec'08 [Tuesday]
Oh gosh, I so wasn't expecting this but...
I was forced to wake up at 4.50am this morning and was so tired that I had cramps.
Anyways, to cut things short, went to the airport at 6am.
Checked in luggage and went for breakfast.
Didn't eat at all, cuz I wasn't accustomed to eating breakfast..
Anyways, the plane took off at around 8 o' clock and reached Narita International Airport, Tokyo - Japan at around 4pm.
After that, we still had to endure an hour ride to Terminal 2, which idk why the hell was so far away from the main terminal but whatever.
So we went to Terminal 2 to take a domestic plane to Sapporo, Hokkaido.
Gah, I'm so glad that we can just take the MRT to different parts of Singapore :/
Can you imagine taking a plane from Pasir Ris to Tampines?
Hahahaha.
Anyways, we reached Chitose [Chi-toh-seh] Airport (In Hokkaido, of course) in an hour.
Like yay!
By the time we reached there, it was like 7pm already.
Took another bus to our hotel Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu which I found out was near a red light district where there were chickens and ducks selling themselves, LOL.
Okay, I thought our hotel was gonna be like some Hotel 81 or something..
But I was wrong.
It was kinda cosy and nice.
Especially the toilet.
Hahahaha.
The spray functions and flushing system there are like so amazing!
Oh anyways.
I gtg to sleep now :D

10 Dec '08 [Wednesday]
Today was officially the 1st day of our holiday in Hokkaido! :D
Got woken by the stupid wake up call and was greeted by this voice speaking rapid Japanese and I was like, HUH?!
Oh anyways after breakfast, which I suddenly had a huge appetite and I ate 4 crossionts (spell?), we set off to the Olympic ski range :D
And, the ground was lined up with ice, because the weather was too cold.

Btw, this Olympic ski range served the 1st ever Winter Olympics in 1972.
Unfortunately, no one was practicing as it was too early in the morning.
We took a ski life to the top of the ski range..

And my brother and I played with the frozen snow/ice.
We made snowballs and flinged it at each other.
LOL.
After that, we went to the Otaru Canel.
Still no snow, and the tour guide said that it hadn't snowed in Sapporo for a week already ):

After that, went for lunch at this seafood restaurant, where daddy spent like 13,000 yen (16x13=SGD$208) on this crab and some sea urchins.
Like eew.
Again, I didnt eat much, because I wasn't a really great fan of seafood, LOL.

Oh anyways, I was seated beside this guy who was from our tour group.
Felt super out-of-place.
LOL, don't get me wrong, he isn't cute at all.
He's a Singaporean and I only prefers Caucasians :D

So after lunch, we went to the music box museum.

The music boxes were like oh-so-gorgeous and I had this compulsion to buy ALL the music boxes in the shop.
LOL, as if I had all the money!
After that, we went for coffee and apple tea (in Cherment and my case) at a nearby cafe.
We got to keep the cups that we used!
Hehe, that was cool right?

After that, we walked to the nearby shopping streets and bought a few souvenirs (:
And guess what?
Daddy gave me 5000 bucks!
Haha, no way man, it was 5000 yen (SGD$80) I meant!
Oh wells.
We went to the Chocolate factory after that :D
It was called Shiroi Koibito Park.
And watched this lame musical that was all in Japanese.
Oh then we toured around the chocolate factory and it smelled so nice, so CHOCOLATEY!
Oh anyways, I found out that there was this king in some ancient time from idk which country who drank 50 cups of chocolate a day.
Like omfg! Didn't he realise the amount of calories and saturated fats he consumed in a day?
Well, it was about 5pm when we emerged from the chocolate factory and the sky was already dark!
Took a bus ride for dinner..
Daddy ate this Kobe (Ko-Beh) Beef which cost 8000 yen [SGD$128]
Well wanna know what so special about the Kobe Beef?
Well appearently, its THAT special because, when it was alive, it drank beer and got massages so that their fats go into their meat.
Hence, its supposed to be really tender.
Too bad that their extravagant lives were short lived and they ended up on my Daddy's plate. LOL.
After dinner, we went shopping for duty free goods.
And some people were looking at Burberry bags.
Haha, I saw this really gorgeous pair of Burberry shoes.
Anyways.
By the time everyone got into the bus, the temperature was already 3.2 degrees.
COLDDDD!
Oh anyways, I'm in my hotel room now, writing this.
There's internet connection downstairs at the lobby but I don't wanna pay to use it haha.
Packing my stuff now, we're changing hotel tomorrow.

Kombawah! (Good evening in Japanese)
Today's my 2nd day in Hokkaido!
This morning, we started off visiting the old parliment (spell?) house.

The weather was chill and the tour guide told us that there was a chance that it was gonna snow!
After that, we went shopping at some really long shopping street.
Wow, saw this really gorgeous pair of sport shoes that only cost 2000 yen (SGD$32)
Ahhhh. Didn't buy it cuz it was made in China.
LOL.
After shopping, we got up to the bus and...
JEEPERS CREEPERS!
IT STARTED SNOWING!
Wahhhh! I was sooooo happy!
It was the 1st time in my life seeing snow!
However, it was only slight snow, but nevertheless, I was still happy! :D
After lunch, we set off to Ding Shan Xi, which was a ski resort.
When we reached there, everybody was like rushing to put on our warm clothings cuz we wanted to play in the snow, which fortunately, got heavier! :D
We didn't go skiing, though.. It was a little late and not many people wanted to ski ):
Anyways, we went "sleigh boarding"..
Uhm, I don't really know what its called but whatever..

Anyways, the sky turned dark really really soon at around 4 pm and it was snowing really hard, but everyone was perspiring as we were playing like mad dogs and challenging each other :D

12 Dec'08 [Friday]
Hello world.
Today was a really long day ):
Long hours of travelling!
And woken up at 6am and we set off at 8am.
1st, we went to this hillside where we went motor skiing.
It was so fun!
And it was still snowing and had gotten heavier than the day before..
Oh anyways, my dad and I drove down the hill, we changed drivers midway.
And dad let me drive even though I couldn't drive cuz I was under 16 years old.
LOL, but no one cared lmao.
Haha, and dad told me to like slow down to wait for my aunt who was far behind us.
So, I turned to look behind and I wasn't looking at the road, so we fell...
The whole ski bike overturned and we fell into the drain, where the snow there was soft...
Lol, it was lucky, cuz if we fell over the other side, we'll probably be dead lol.
Cuz it was a hill down!
Oh anyways..
After that, we went for lunch which was near a volcano and then to a bear enclosure, which was near the place we had lunch..

After that, we took a three hour ride to Hakodate [Har-ko-dar-teh] and that's where I am right now :D
By the time we reached there, it was like 4pm and already dark..
Our tour guide brought us to this cable car to the summit of this hill where we could see the whole Hakodate city..
It was beautiful but cold cuz we were on a hill!

Well after that, we went for dinner and to a new hotel tonight :D
Its much smaller than yesterday, but still really cool and japanese style (:

Today was colder, and the snow stopped ):
Anyways..
We went to this convent set up by the French government a century ago..
It was called the Trappistine Convent.

Oh anyways, the building was really beautiful, but we couldn't go in cuz it was out of bound..

Okay, so after that, we went to this place called Wu Ling Gu or something..
Hehe, sorry I'm bad at chinese.
Uhm well, its this fort they built a few centuries ago during war and it has a star shape :D

Yepps, this was where my brother went missing after his trip to the toilet lol.

After that, we went for lunch and then to the lovers' bridge where Gerald (This plump boy from my tour group) had a fall.

Then, we set back to another hotel where there was another hot spring..

Haha, no, its this volcano that is active and that's where they produce all the water for the hot spring..
Yeah, its nicknamed HELL because it stank!

Oh wells anyways, there was this hotel nearby, but I was just wondering if people would actually wanna stay there, cuz you could like smell the stench from 1 km away!

Okays, after that we went for lunch, but it wasn't very filling..
And then we went Factory Outlet shopping :D
And 1st we went to GAP, and the jeans and hoodies there were so gorgeous!!!
Wanted to buy em, but it was super duper expensive ):
And made in China...
Oh wells.
Then walked around..
And went to Adidas..
But most of the stuff there were like made in China ):
So we didn't wanna buy em..
Though they were really pretty..
Haha, and I went to Roxy and Quicksilver, and some clothing there were really sweeeet!
But mom said that it was too expensive there, she promised me that we'll go buy em in Singapore :D

Oh and then sat the coach to our hotel which was situated in Chitose Airport, so that we needen't wake up so early to take our domestic flight the next day ):

Its like 2 am here!

Took the domestic flight from Chitose Airport back to Terminal 2..
And sat another 1 hr bus ride back to Terminal 1..

And passed DisneyLand Tokyo! :D
So pretty!
And they have so many ferries wheels!
Oh whatever, anyways..
Slept in the bus and then reached Narita airport..
Uhm checked in and then we went for lunch..
And we didn't have much money with us already!
Haha cuz we really bought alot of stuff...

Well shopped in the airport for awhile and went into the departure hall.
Shopped summore, cuz mom wanted to spend all the money she had left..
And she borrowed like 20,000 yen from my auntie..

Dada drove me to school at around 11.45am.

Tuned up and soon set off the VCH.
And met up with the Nakamura Girls'.
They were SO POLITE.
Comparing to Singaporeans..

Oh anyways, we played 3 songs..
La Forza, Dancing Amedeaus (Spell?) and American Graffitti.
Oh wells, was quite okay I should say..
Part 3 wasn't really screwed.
And KUDOS to Robyn, who played her solo quite nicely :D
Oh and then the Nakamura Girls' took the stage and they were like sooooo AWESOME!

They played Rocky..
The one we played during the 55th anniversary..
And boy, they were like soooo good! (?
Lol, the solo flautist was amazing.

9 Dec'08 [Tuesday]
Oh gosh, I so wasn't expecting this but...
I was forced to wake up at 4.50am this morning and was so tired that I had cramps.
Anyways, to cut things short, went to the airport at 6am.
Checked in luggage and went for breakfast.
Didn't eat at all, cuz I wasn't accustomed to eating breakfast..
Anyways, the plane took off at around 8 o' clock and reached Narita International Airport, Tokyo - Japan at around 4pm.
After that, we still had to endure an hour ride to Terminal 2, which idk why the hell was so far away from the main terminal but whatever.
So we went to Terminal 2 to take a domestic plane to Sapporo, Hokkaido.
Gah, I'm so glad that we can just take the MRT to different parts of Singapore :/
Can you imagine taking a plane from Pasir Ris to Tampines?
Hahahaha.
Anyways, we reached Chitose [Chi-toh-seh] Airport (In Hokkaido, of course) in an hour.
Like yay!
By the time we reached there, it was like 7pm already.
Took another bus to our hotel Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu which I found out was near a red light district where there were chickens and ducks selling themselves, LOL.
Okay, I thought our hotel was gonna be like some Hotel 81 or something..
But I was wrong.
It was kinda cosy and nice.
Especially the toilet.
Hahahaha.
The spray functions and flushing system there are like so amazing!
Oh anyways.
I gtg to sleep now :D

10 Dec '08 [Wednesday]
Today was officially the 1st day of our holiday in Hokkaido! :D
Got woken by the stupid wake up call and was greeted by this voice speaking rapid Japanese and I was like, HUH?!
Oh anyways after breakfast, which I suddenly had a huge appetite and I ate 4 crossionts (spell?), we set off to the Olympic ski range :D
And, the ground was lined up with ice, because the weather was too cold.

Btw, this Olympic ski range served the 1st ever Winter Olympics in 1972.
Unfortunately, no one was practicing as it was too early in the morning.
We took a ski life to the top of the ski range..

We made snowballs and flinged it at each other.
LOL.
After that, we went to the Otaru Canel.
Still no snow, and the tour guide said that it hadn't snowed in Sapporo for a week already ):

After that, went for lunch at this seafood restaurant, where daddy spent like 13,000 yen (16x13=SGD$208) on this crab and some sea urchins.
Like eew.
Again, I didnt eat much, because I wasn't a really great fan of seafood, LOL.

Oh anyways, I was seated beside this guy who was from our tour group.
Felt super out-of-place.
LOL, don't get me wrong, he isn't cute at all.
He's a Singaporean and I only prefers Caucasians :D

So after lunch, we went to the music box museum.

The music boxes were like oh-so-gorgeous and I had this compulsion to buy ALL the music boxes in the shop.
LOL, as if I had all the money!
After that, we went for coffee and apple tea (in Cherment and my case) at a nearby cafe.
We got to keep the cups that we used!
Hehe, that was cool right?

After that, we walked to the nearby shopping streets and bought a few souvenirs (:
And guess what?
Daddy gave me 5000 bucks!
Haha, no way man, it was 5000 yen (SGD$80) I meant!
Oh wells.
We went to the Chocolate factory after that :D
It was called Shiroi Koibito Park.
And watched this lame musical that was all in Japanese.
Oh then we toured around the chocolate factory and it smelled so nice, so CHOCOLATEY!
Oh anyways, I found out that there was this king in some ancient time from idk which country who drank 50 cups of chocolate a day.
Like omfg! Didn't he realise the amount of calories and saturated fats he consumed in a day?
Well, it was about 5pm when we emerged from the chocolate factory and the sky was already dark!
Took a bus ride for dinner..
Daddy ate this Kobe (Ko-Beh) Beef which cost 8000 yen [SGD$128]
Well wanna know what so special about the Kobe Beef?
Well appearently, its THAT special because, when it was alive, it drank beer and got massages so that their fats go into their meat.
Hence, its supposed to be really tender.
Too bad that their extravagant lives were short lived and they ended up on my Daddy's plate. LOL.
After dinner, we went shopping for duty free goods.
And some people were looking at Burberry bags.
Haha, I saw this really gorgeous pair of Burberry shoes.
Anyways.
By the time everyone got into the bus, the temperature was already 3.2 degrees.
COLDDDD!
Oh anyways, I'm in my hotel room now, writing this.
There's internet connection downstairs at the lobby but I don't wanna pay to use it haha.
Packing my stuff now, we're changing hotel tomorrow.

Kombawah! (Good evening in Japanese)
Today's my 2nd day in Hokkaido!
This morning, we started off visiting the old parliment (spell?) house.

The weather was chill and the tour guide told us that there was a chance that it was gonna snow!
After that, we went shopping at some really long shopping street.
Wow, saw this really gorgeous pair of sport shoes that only cost 2000 yen (SGD$32)
Ahhhh. Didn't buy it cuz it was made in China.
LOL.
After shopping, we got up to the bus and...
JEEPERS CREEPERS!
IT STARTED SNOWING!
Wahhhh! I was sooooo happy!
It was the 1st time in my life seeing snow!
However, it was only slight snow, but nevertheless, I was still happy! :D
After lunch, we set off to Ding Shan Xi, which was a ski resort.
When we reached there, everybody was like rushing to put on our warm clothings cuz we wanted to play in the snow, which fortunately, got heavier! :D
We didn't go skiing, though.. It was a little late and not many people wanted to ski ):
Anyways, we went "sleigh boarding"..
Uhm, I don't really know what its called but whatever..

Anyways, the sky turned dark really really soon at around 4 pm and it was snowing really hard, but everyone was perspiring as we were playing like mad dogs and challenging each other :D

After that, we had to go to the hotel and the tour guide gave us a crash course about how to wear a kimono, because we were supposed to wear one to dinner.

12 Dec'08 [Friday]
Hello world.
Today was a really long day ):
Long hours of travelling!
And woken up at 6am and we set off at 8am.
1st, we went to this hillside where we went motor skiing.
It was so fun!
And it was still snowing and had gotten heavier than the day before..
Oh anyways, my dad and I drove down the hill, we changed drivers midway.
And dad let me drive even though I couldn't drive cuz I was under 16 years old.
LOL, but no one cared lmao.
Haha, and dad told me to like slow down to wait for my aunt who was far behind us.
So, I turned to look behind and I wasn't looking at the road, so we fell...
The whole ski bike overturned and we fell into the drain, where the snow there was soft...
Lol, it was lucky, cuz if we fell over the other side, we'll probably be dead lol.
Cuz it was a hill down!
Oh anyways..
After that, we went for lunch which was near a volcano and then to a bear enclosure, which was near the place we had lunch..

After that, we took a three hour ride to Hakodate [Har-ko-dar-teh] and that's where I am right now :D
By the time we reached there, it was like 4pm and already dark..
Our tour guide brought us to this cable car to the summit of this hill where we could see the whole Hakodate city..
It was beautiful but cold cuz we were on a hill!

Yeppps..
Well after that, we went for dinner and to a new hotel tonight :D
Its much smaller than yesterday, but still really cool and japanese style (:

Today was colder, and the snow stopped ):
Anyways..
We went to this convent set up by the French government a century ago..
It was called the Trappistine Convent.

Oh anyways, the building was really beautiful, but we couldn't go in cuz it was out of bound..

Okay, so after that, we went to this place called Wu Ling Gu or something..
Hehe, sorry I'm bad at chinese.
Uhm well, its this fort they built a few centuries ago during war and it has a star shape :D

Yepps, this was where my brother went missing after his trip to the toilet lol.

After that, we went for lunch and then to the lovers' bridge where Gerald (This plump boy from my tour group) had a fall.

Then, we set back to another hotel where there was another hot spring..

Well, the official last day in Hokkaido ):

Haha, no, its this volcano that is active and that's where they produce all the water for the hot spring..
Yeah, its nicknamed HELL because it stank!

Oh wells anyways, there was this hotel nearby, but I was just wondering if people would actually wanna stay there, cuz you could like smell the stench from 1 km away!

Okays, after that we went for lunch, but it wasn't very filling..
And then we went Factory Outlet shopping :D
And 1st we went to GAP, and the jeans and hoodies there were so gorgeous!!!
Wanted to buy em, but it was super duper expensive ):
And made in China...
Oh wells.
Then walked around..
And went to Adidas..
But most of the stuff there were like made in China ):
So we didn't wanna buy em..
Though they were really pretty..
Haha, and I went to Roxy and Quicksilver, and some clothing there were really sweeeet!
But mom said that it was too expensive there, she promised me that we'll go buy em in Singapore :D

Oh anyways, got dark really soon, so we went to this nearby chinese restaurant for dinner..

Oh and then sat the coach to our hotel which was situated in Chitose Airport, so that we needen't wake up so early to take our domestic flight the next day ):

ZOMG..
Its actually 16 Dec, Tuesday already!
Its like 2 am here!
LMAO.
Took the domestic flight from Chitose Airport back to Terminal 2..
And sat another 1 hr bus ride back to Terminal 1..
Arrgh..
And passed DisneyLand Tokyo! :D
So pretty!
And they have so many ferries wheels!
Oh whatever, anyways..
Slept in the bus and then reached Narita airport..
Uhm checked in and then we went for lunch..
And we didn't have much money with us already!
Haha cuz we really bought alot of stuff...
Uhhhmm.
Well shopped in the airport for awhile and went into the departure hall.
Shopped summore, cuz mom wanted to spend all the money she had left..
And she borrowed like 20,000 yen from my auntie..

Waited for our flight and there were like so many people.
Then found out that the previous flight was delayed so the passengers of this flight were like taking the same flight as us...
